How long is your car? I asked a close friend when we came out of a cafe in Central London. Huh? That took her completely by surprise…hahaha. This stretch limo was parked on the same side of the main street as the cafe. The guys in the cafe told us that the car had been parked outside the eatery for a couple of days. Heavens! it occupied several parking spots on the street!
My friend, as usual, with her witty sense of humor turned to me and said in a serious voice, “How many times do I have to tell them not to park my car here!”. We cracked up laughing. Anyone walking behind us, who could have heard my friend’s remark, would probably have looked at us with a weird expression – a furrowed brow perhaps. But, I don’t think anyone heard my friend’s hilarious remark. The HummerHummer was a sight to behold!
Of course, I couldn’t pass up a great photo opportunity and stood next to this unusual parked vehicle. Unusual because it was such a long, long car and secondly, because it wasn’t dropping off or picking up a celebrity. Well, the long and short of it was, if anyone were to have come up to me and asked, “how long is your car?”, I wouldn’t have known what to say, really.
For my own informaton I did a little digging around on the net and found this site which gives a rundown of what HummerHummer is all about. I might be little creative one of these days and plan a party or an outing with close friends in one of these stretch limos. One’s options for exciting venues is indeed endless – the HummerHummer would certainly be one option.
