I am sure that everyone has their bag of tricks when it comes to capturing the attention of guests at a dinner party, Christmas time, holidays, rainy days, when indoors and nowhere to go. Or simply when you’re on one’s own and do not feel like reading or watching telly.
Magic, scientific tricks or whatever you want to call it, is surrounded by a kind of mystique and myth. It appeals to those who seem inclined towards the weird and strange creations that blow the mind.
A few years ago I was with a group of colleagues on a Friday evening at the staff social club for the usual Friday ‘happy hour’ and there was an added attraction. We were treated to a demonstration of some magic or scientific tricks or whatever but we enjoyed ourselves. Some in the audience were quite skeptical and kept on trying to test the magician. He beat them all the time so I reckon he knows his stuff.
I came across this and reckon it would be fun to try some of these tricks. Some Wiseman magic to pass the dull and cold Wintery days I reckon.
Sounds tempting eh? So, magic anyone?
